Dunia Camp

Dunia Camp is located in central Serengeti in the transition zone of grassland and forest areas. It lies near the Seronera River on the main route of the annual wildebeest migration. This location is fabulous, well away from the larger hotels and busier game-driving routes that put many clients off travelling to this part of the park. The site comprises a patch of acacia woodland and has lovely savanna views.

Dunia Camp is a cosy, tranquil base for game drives in the Central and Southern Serengeti. South of the camp are the Moru Kopjes. The rock formations serve as perfect vantage points for big cats and are currently believed to be the only Serengeti region where rhinos can be spotted.

Each of the 8 luxurious and spacious house tents is stylishly furnished with comfortable double beds, high-quality wooden furniture and private bathroom with shower and flush toilet and a private veranda overlooking the kopjes. 8 guest tents, 2 of which are triples for families. There is also laundry service on offer if needed.

Breakfast buffets are extravagant with juice, fresh fruit, cereals, continental breakfast and tea or coffee. Lunch is usually a cold buffet followed by afternoon tea time with homemade cakes or pastries. Dinner is a 3-course meal with local specialties in the evening. Guests dine together in the dining room at individual tables.

The proximity of Dunia Camp to Seronera is ideal for a hot-air balloon safari. 

This camp is accessed via road transfer from Seronera Airstrip, just 45 minutes away.
