Serengeti Sopa Lodge

Serengeti Sopa Lodge is located off the beaten track in the Nyarboro Hills in south western Serengeti. 

The massive lodge was built in a traditional style with many natural materials and decorated in warm earth tones. It is relatively large with 69 standard rooms and 4 suites, but welcomes its guests with a personal atmosphere and excellent service.

The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and shower/toilet. Forged floral furnishing elements, traditionally patterned fabrics and subdued lighting create a cozy atmosphere. 

From the windows and the balconies you can see the expanse of the southern Serengeti and from here you can see many passing animals. On game drives in the area you will encounter lions, who like to rest on the rounded "kopjes" rocks, but also zebras, herds of wildebeest and giraffes. End the exciting safari day with a drink at the bar with a wonderful view of the Serengeti at night.

The journey from Arusha takes about 7 - 8 hours driving. The nearest airstrip is in Seronera. From here the transfer to the lodge takes about 45 minutes.
