Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is located about 2.5 km east of the Tarangire River in the northern part of the national park on a small, mostly dry stream. It offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in Tarangire National Park.

The main buildings are tall, wooden-roofed long buildings and are partly based on the style of the typical regional 'Rondavel' buildings. Panoramic windows provide a view of the surrounding baobab forest. Bush dining al fresco on an open grass area is possible. The pool is large with a walk-in sun deck in the middle. It is surrounded by a pool bar and several open 'rondavels' for dining. Wi Fi and telephone in central facilities.

The rooms have ensuite bathrooms and very spacious with 2 queen size beds, lounge and veranda. They have mosquito nets, a ceiling fan, minibar, hairdryer and safe. The interior is bright, discreet and functional. Babysitting and laundry service possible. The facility is not fenced, wild animals can roam it. At night, guests are escorted to their accommodation by staff.
