Baghayo Garden Suites

The new Baghayo Garden Suites with 14 suites in a country house style extend a warm welcome to families. It is located near Karatu town, midway between Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Lake Manyara National Park.

Surrounded by lush gardens in a rural setting, the property offers 14 cottage-style suites, including 6 family suites that can accommodate up to 7 people. All suites have a private veranda overlooking the coffee estate.

The interior of the suites is the result of excellent local craftsmanship and shows the talent of Tanzanian and East African craftsmen. All suites have a living room with fireplace, bedroom and bathroom lead. The rooms are equipped with charging stations, hairdryers, luggage racks, closets and a desk. Enjoy the view of the garden and the coffee plants while writing postcards to your loved ones.

In the main house there is a bar, a lounge, a restaurant where your meals are prepared with a great pinch of passion - all with fresh produce straight from the gardens. The lodge grows its own wheat and beans in nearby fields, so fresh bread and rolls are baked daily. The cuisine is farm-to-table, with fruit trees, herbs, vegetable gardens and coffee on site, and milk, eggs and honey sourced from the farm next door to the lodge. The emphasis is on fresh foods with lots of veggies.
