Maramboi Tented Camp

Maramboi Tented Camp offers far more luxury than you would expect from the name. Not only does the camp have a large swimming pool, the guest accommodations are also reminiscent of classic safari tents thanks to the wooden floors and thatched roof. 

Located directly on Lake Manyara, it offers views of the plains of Tarangire National Park. The wild animals like to walk through the camp and you can also experience them up close with the guided tours by Maasai.

Maramboi is a superb choice for travelers who like the idea of being based close to Lake Manyara, with the opportunity to take in Tarangire too. It is accessed via a 25-minute flight from Arusha to Manyara or a scenic road transfer from Arusha lasting approximately 2-hours.

The camp consists of 30 rooms in total, 20 of which are in tents and another 10 in permanent lodges. Each room is equipped with an en-suite bathroom, a spacious double bed, mosquito net and a private terrace. 

The public area consists of a restaurant (indoor and outdoor) and a bar, built on a raised wooden deck to enjoy the view of the shore of Lake Manyara. To relax or cool off there is a pool with a sun terrace.
