Sayari Camp

Sayari Camp

Sayari Camp is beautifully situated in the Mara River area just before the border with Kenya, far removed from the classic tourist routes. Large herds of wildebeest stay in the northern Serengeti and the Kenyan Maasai Mara from July to mid-November. On their annual migration they cross the Mara River infested with crocodiles, unfolding some dramatic scenes between the prey and the predator.

The 16 spacious house tents are spread over two wings of the camp, each with its own dining room. The tents on wooden decks with a wide terrace are very spacious, stylishly furnished and designed in light colors.

Facilities include comfortable beds, shower, bath and flush toilets. Comfortable seating is available on your private terrace. The spacious, tastefully designed main area under canvas includes the restaurant, bar and lounge. There is also a pool with a sun deck and sun loungers.

Sayari is open all year round except during the April/May rainy season. For guests who arrive by air, the camp's own open safari vehicles with all-wheel drive are available. The game drives take place together with other guests of Sayari Camp, exclusive private use of the vehicles is possible at an additional cost.

Sayari also offers good game viewing opportunities outside of this season, as many large game live permanently in this area. In addition to the daily morning and afternoon game drives, guided hikes accompanied by an armed ranger are also offered (bookable on site at an additional cost).
