Tarangire Safari Lodge

Tarangire Safari Lodge is located in Tarangire National Park on a hilltop overlooking the Tarangire River and savannah, allowing prime game viewing right from the large terrace. It is not uncommon for elephants to walk right through the grounds of the lodge. The communal areas of the swimming pool, terrace and lounge invite you to linger. Night game drives are offered. The lodge is simple but known for its personal, warm and casual atmosphere. 

It lies about 7 km from the Tarangire National Park main gate, and approximately 2 hours drive (120 km) from Arusha town.

In the Main Area, the open plan dining room is bordered by a large panoramic terrace overlooking the grounds. The large, covered lounge is a popular meeting place before and after dinner. The swimming pool with loungers and parasols provides refreshment. There is a shallow paddling pool for children. Massages and laundry services are available at an additional cost. Wi-Fi is available in the main building, as is a charging station. All buildings on the site are at ground level.

The lodge has 35 tents and 5 bungalows. The tents are all built on a solid concrete floor, have a thatched roof, real beds and windows with mosquito screens. Porch with seating and table. The private internal bathrooms are ensuite with WC. Thanks to solar systems, warm water is available for showering.

The communal meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are offered in buffet form in the open and bright dining room. Kid's menu for children. Special diets are taken into account.
